Butterfly... What comes into your head everytime you hear the word butterfly? Most people probably might think of that colorful, glamorous art carved on the wings of a butterfly... but there is so much more than initially meets the eye!One of the interesting facts that makes a butterfly so unique and interesting is the way they taste their food. Their taste buds are located on their feet! So meaning, they taste using their feet! How's that for a butterfly? Interesting? What about their mouth? Well unfortunately, butterflies don't have mouths that allows them to chew or bite. They, along with most moths have a long straw like structure called a proboscis which they use only to drink nectar and juices. When not in use, the proboscis remains coiled like a garden hose.
Just imagine if we are like a butterfly... We'd probably have a very colorful and attractive wings, but also spend our entire life tasting our sacks and shoes, and all the ground can offer us.
